These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of bptradingco.com(the “Site”) and the private BP Trading Co Finance Assistant (the “Finance Assistant”), operated by B&P Trading Company LLC (“BP Trading Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site or Finance Assistant, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the Site in any way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or interferes with the operation of the Site.
Authorized use of the Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant is a private internal application. Only personnel expressly authorized by BP Trading Co. may use it or connect a QuickBooks Online company. Users must protect their accounts and follow BP Trading Co.’s security, accounting, approval, and record-retention policies.
QuickBooks connection
An authorized administrator must approve the connection through Intuit’s OAuth authorization flow. The Finance Assistant requests the QuickBooks Online Accounting permission and does not request QuickBooks Payments access. Intuit and QuickBooks Online are third-party services governed by their own agreements, availability, and security practices.
Accounting controls and user responsibility
The Finance Assistant is designed to be read-first. Any supported write operation must first produce a dry-run payload for review and requires an explicit approval bound to that exact method, endpoint, and payload before submission. Users remain responsible for confirming the accuracy, authorization, accounting treatment, and business purpose of every action and for reviewing material outputs against QuickBooks Online and company records.
Prohibited use
You may not bypass access controls, disclose credentials, access a company you are not authorized to use, use QuickBooks information for an unauthorized purpose, or attempt unsupported or prohibited accounting activity. You may not use the Finance Assistant to circumvent QuickBooks controls, including closed-period restrictions.
Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and the BP Trading Co. name and seal, are owned by or licensed to BP Trading Co. and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
No warranties
The Site and Finance Assistant are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that either will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The Finance Assistant supports internal workflows but does not replace professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BP Trading Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Finance Assistant.
Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party sites.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
